数年前、マクドナルドでバイトの女の子に対して通常とは
逆の順番で注文したらどうなるか試した人がいた。
つまり「店内で、バニラシェークのMサイズと、マスタードソースのナゲットと
ポテトのSサイズとチーズバーガー下さい」という風にね。

すると、レジの女の子はすっかり頭が混乱してしまって、何度も注文を聞き返し、
おまけに最後に「店内でお召し上がりですか」と聞いたそうだ。
面白い。そこで、俺も試してみた。

「店内で、ペプシコーラのMサイズと、ポテトのMサイズ、あとフィッシュバーガーをお願いします。」
バイトの女の子は顔を挙げて言った。

「あいかわらずの性格ね。」
別れた彼女だった。
「僕らの時間も逆にたどれないかな？」
突然泣き出す彼女。
「おい、いきなり泣くなよ。こんなとこで・・・・」
「ごめん。でも逆にたどるなら、始まりは涙でしょ？」
俺はまわりの目も気にせず、彼女にキスをした。
